Power Features

Event Based Rules
Automate tasks based on server events such as encrypt files upon arrival, send email notification upon quota exceeded or archive server logs upon log rotation. Event rules are comprehensive and easy to develop using Secure FTP Server's Outlook like Rules Wizard.

Robust Component Object Model Interface
Use your favorite programming or scripting language to interact with Secure FTP Server's COM Interface to automate common server and user administrative tasks.

Server Manager
Manage multiple servers at multiple locations with one Server Administrator Interface.

Custom Site Commands
Create custom commands that allow users to execute programs on the server using command line parameters.

Guaranteed Data Delivery
Automatically verify successful transfer with FTP clients, using CRC32 checksum. Only compatible FTP clients (such as CuteFTP Pro) are able to send an XCRC command.

Multi-Part Uploads
Allow compatible FTP clients (CuteFTP Professional) to issue a COMB (combine) command after transferring a single file in multiple parts. This feature maximizes the bandwidth available to the client.

Connection Monitoring
Troubleshoot problem connections with connection monitoring. Examine per-connection logs in real-time, search for text, filter results, and configure monitoring options.

Run as an NT service
Automatically start and run your FTP server as an NT Service.

Virtual Sites
Operate multiple FTP sites with unique directory structures and user accounts from one location.

Extensive Log File Support
Select from three different log file formats: W3C, Microsoft IIS, or NCSA. Rotate the logs on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis.

Assign a Range of Ports
Configure a PASV connection through a range of ports. Secure FTP Server will choose from a specified range of ports when issuing IP:PORT information to clients.

Multi-Homed PCs
Listen for connections on multiple interfaces.

Fight Back Against DOS Attacks
Prevent possible Denial of Service attack attempts. When the server detects activity that fits the profile of an attack, it can ban the IP temporarily or permanently. Enabling this feature increases the functionality and reliability of your FTP site.

Prevent Unwanted File Types
Block the upload or download of specific files or certain types of files. You can specify which files to block using wildcards or exact file names.
